STOP THE CUTS. PROTECT RETIREES.

Thank you for supporting the Coalition to Save Medicare Advantage (MA) Retiree Coverage. We are also very thankful for the bipartisan outpouring of support from the 404 Members of Congress who supported MA, and particularly the 149 who took the lead in defending MA Retiree Coverage during the rate period.

As supporters of MA Retiree Coverage, we now have a solid foundation to continue advocating for this important part of MA in the future.

Thank you again for your efforts and support.

Bruce Josten of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce warned that if Medicare officials don’t change the provision, some plans may have to narrow the number of hospitals or physicians in networks or increase out-of-pocket costs such as deductibles. Low-income people especially depend on generous health benefits, he noted.

“You start to squeeze the people that this program is designed to benefit the most,” said Josten.
