Medicare Advantage (MA) Retiree Coverage is an essential source of Medicare coverage provided to retirees by private employers, state and municipal governments, and labor unions, and other organizations.
3.3 million retirees nationwide – approximately one-fifth of all MA beneficiaries – rely on MA Retiree Coverage for their health and financial security.
Last month, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) proposed a cut to MA Retiree Coverage of three to four percent. The comment period will end April 4th. Tell Congress you know about these cuts, and that you deserve to keep your health coverage.
If concerned seniors and members of Congress don’t speak out to stop these cuts, some employers and unions could be forced to drop their MA Retiree Coverage altogether. Tell your Member of Congress to stop this from happening.
